Former NFL MVP Shaun Alexander has just scored another touchdown with his expanding family.
The ex-Seattle Seahawks running back and his wife, Valerie, are expecting their 14th child.
Alexander broke the news Thursday to sports commentator Kay Adams on the “Up & Adams” show.
“We’re just now starting to tell people but No. 14 is in the belly,” Alexander, 48, revealed.
He and his wife have been married since 2002. They’ve since welcomed 10 daughters and three sons — Heaven, Trinity, Eden, Joseph, Justus, Temple, Honor, Jedidiah, Torah, Eternity, Hosanna, Hope and Judea.
Their ninth child, Torah, tragically died in 2017, just 70 days after being born, from sudden infant death syndrome.
Alexander, a born-again Christian, spent eight of his nine years in the NFL with the Seahawks, before spending his final year with the Washington Redskins. He was named the league’s MVP in 2005 and was inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 2022.
Ranking 37th in all-time rushing yards and 23rd in rushing yards per game, he’s also one of only 10 NFL players to achieve 100 or more rushing touchdowns throughout his career.
Although the University of Alabama alum was never a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Alexander is eligible again for the 2026 class.
