Tribit's StormBox Lava portable wireless (Bluetooth 5.4) speaker is as advertised: powerful, great-sounding and portable.

The powerful bass-heavy, room-filling sound comes from 80 watts of internal speakers consisting of dual 30W neodymium magnet woofers and dual 10W silk dome tweeters. This adds up to the powerful, clear and crisp sound at high volume. The ultra-deep bass is a product of Tribit's exclusive XBass technology.

Depending on your volume level, you'll get about 24 hours of playtime. Recharging takes about 5 hours with a USB-C connection. Other features include the speaker doubling as a power bank to charge other portable USB devices.

The speaker's microphones allow for hands-free device calls, and its IP67 waterproof/dust-proof rating allows it to withstand pool splashes and quick rain showers. The IP67 ratings also means the device can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

A detachable shoulder strap and handle are included to carry the 12.2-by-5.7-by-5.9-inch speaker. The top controls are responsive for Bluetooth pairing, modes, volume and music selections. There's also an AUX-in port.

Scosche's Boombottle MS magnetic wireless speaker has been out for a few seasons but is still a favorite of mine because of its unique features.

The speaker's cylindrical design allows it to fit in car, boat, bicycle and golf cart cup holders. It also has a built-in bottle opener. A MagSafe charger is on top for charging compatible iPhones. Other models can charge using the included MagSafe-compatible MagicRing.

As for sound, the Bluetooth 5.0 speaker has a pair of 10-watt speakers and two passive subwoofers delivering near 360-degree sound with a nice amount of bass at any volume. A pair of Boombottle MS magnetic wireless speakers can be paired for true wireless stereo sound. It also has an IP67 waterproof/dust-proof rating.

Behind a rubber tab (it must be closed to keep it water resistant) are the ports for charging and an Aux-in port. Remember, while using either of these ports, the device will not be water-resistant. The base is magnetic, securing it to most metal surfaces. The internal rechargeable 4000mAh battery will play for up to 12 hours.

Soundcore's Select 4 Go portable Bluetooth V5.3 speaker is perfect for any situation and its small size and other features make it summer-ready.

It can even be considered pocket-sized (4.76 by 3.26 by 1.91 inches). Regardless, it's ready to tag along for any outdoor adventure. The built-in handle allows it to be easily attached to a backpack, belt loop or anything else.

The Select 4 Go’s sound comes from a 5-watt speaker, producing clear and dynamic audio. A 2600 mAh rechargeable battery plays for up to 20 hours before needing USB-C charge. It also has an IP67 dust and waterproof rating and is constructed to float along with you. With its Bluetooth 5.3, you can connect a pair of the Select 4 Go speakers.

The Soundcore companion app's 9-band EQ allows for customized sound. The Select 4 Go is available in six colors. It currently sells for $19.99 at Amazon.
