Steady Steps Under the Taurus New Moon
Some of the biggest steps we take can seem small as we're taking them. Under the dark cover of a Taurus new moon, the low-visibility landscape defies laws of scale. Or maybe the real gift of this steady Taurus moon is magic shoes. In retrospect, we'll marvel at the distances we covered by taking one seemingly small step at a time.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). There's a place for criticism, but you certainly don't need it as a constant. Go where people are kindly (but not blindly!) supportive. You don't need "yes" people -- you need sharp minds and soft hearts in your corner.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Wanting to be happy, feeling like there's something missing, something you can't quite grasp -- it's not a small thing. Maybe you don't have to chase happiness. Maybe you just need to create space for it to find you. Even in the messy parts of life, it's there.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). A project demands skills you don't yet possess, so you'll learn. In training, you'll discover you're more talented than you realized. Even your distractions and tangents will lead to something productive.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Beware of those who use external displays as signals of status or influence. Those who feel the need to prove their power often do so because they feel insecure about it. True power is the ability to command oneself.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). What you're cooking up in that playful mind of yours is making you very attractive to someone. Keep thinking the way you do. Someone is hanging on your every word, utterly intrigued by the spell you cast.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Step away from rigid goals and allow instinct to guide you. Not everything needs to be driven by a clear-cut purpose. Meaningful moments arise organically when you let go of the need for direction.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). It feels like you're deep in the thick of things right now, but you're also incredibly strong, so push through with persistence and faith that your hard work will pay off. A creative win is coming. Continue on your path.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll find yourself pulled in at least three different directions, as there are three people who adore you and want your attention. The good news? There's a way to satisfy all without losing yourself in the process.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Small, seemingly insignificant problems can take up mental space and slow you down if left unresolved. By addressing them quickly, you keep your mind clear, allowing you to think and work more efficiently. Prevent minor annoyances from accumulating and becoming a bigger drain on your focus.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It is the very nature of power to change hands. Like a torch, the point is to take it as far as duty allows and then pass it on. Does your awareness of the temporary nature of authority make you want to use yours very well while you can?
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You thought you needed more time and money, but what you needed more of was shrewdness. There's a lot of extra frays that can be shaved off of these activities, so what do you think is superfluous?
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You tend to take any responsibility as seriously as if you were getting paid to fulfill the order. But what about when it's time to show up strong for yourself? Don't go lax with responsibility -- it's the most important one.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 27). This is your year of brilliant ideas! Some solve problems, others bring something entirely new into the world, and then there's the ones that help you lead your pack to success. It all happens because you have the courage to apply what you know and the intuition to know when it's the right time. More highlights: A new professional title, ecstatic moments of travel, and magic relationship moments. Scorpio and Gemini adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 19, 25, 30 and 12.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Lizzo is picking up the guitar recently, but not to record a new record. The multiple Grammy-winning pop star has taken an acting role to portray the gospel singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe, known as the "Godmother of Rock 'n' Roll," in an upcoming biopic titled "Rosetta." The Taurus pop star's authenticity, vibrant personality and commitment to promoting self-acceptance have endeared her to a diverse audience. Taurus sun brings determination and a strong appreciation for beauty and art, while three Capricorn planets suggest unstoppable power.
