Meghan Markle is joining an Australian cooking show.

“Junior MasterChef Australia is back on the menu in 2027! Poh Ling Yeow will be joined by special guest Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to help guide the next generation of young culinary talent,” Channel 10 in Australia advertised Tuesday.

The Duchess of Sussex will begin shooting episodes in the next few months for the return of “Junior Masterchef,” according to News.com.au. That will reportedly require Markle to live down under for at least a couple of weeks.

While some reports claim Markle will be a co-host, People says that she’ll be coming aboard as a guest. That outlet also says her husband Prince Harry and their two young children will not be relocating to Australia. The family moved to the United Kingdom in August after spending the six years in the U.S.

The entertainment site Hello reports that Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, may join their mother in Melbourne during filming.

Markle looks forward to being reunited with Yeow.

“I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes,” she said in a statement shared by media outlets.

Yeow added that he too looks forward to cooking with Markle, who launched a lifestyle brand called As Ever in April 2025.

“I had a lovely time filming with Meghan earlier this year, and being reunited will be a real treat,” he said.

“Junior Masterchef,” which features up and coming cooks, launched in 2010. It last aired in 2020.

There’s been much ado about Markle’s next move professionally. That included speculation that the former “Suits” star would appear in the Guy Ritchie streaming series “The Gentlemen,” which is currently shooting its third season in Great Britain and Morocco. There’s no indication she’s involved.

Markle’s visit to Australia comes while her estranged father is under investigation in the Philippines for possessing child sex abuse material. Video and photos of underaged children were allegedly discovered by Thomas Markle’s son, Thomas Markle Jr., while the elder Markle was hospitalized following a stroke. The 82-year-old patriarch denies wrongdoing.
