A domestic drama turned apocalyptic survival thriller tops the DVD releases for the week of Nov. 3.

"The End of Oak Street": A suburban town is time warped to prehistoric times, leaving a family to fight off dinosaurs to survive. Starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.

"Hathaway’s performance is the best part of David Robert Mitchell’s suburbs-meets-Paleolithic era action flick, and the key to making it work," writes Tribune News Service critic Katie Walsh in her review. "She has a terrific scream queen ability that’s rarely been put to use, plus, she’s right up there with Shelley Duvall in 'The Shining' when it comes to frantic mother acting, and with Laura Dern for dinosaur reacting."
