Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's pal Kelly McKee Zajfen has given birth - four years after her nine-year-old son died.

The model, 44, and her husband, entertainment lawyer Julian Zajfen, welcomed baby boy Jack into the world on March 26 - the day after Kelly's birthday - and his arrival comes four years after they lost George to COVID-19 and viral meningitis in July 2022.

Kelly shared a series of photos from Jack's birth, as well as sweet shots of Julian and George's twin sister, Lily, now 13, cradling their newest family member on Instagram on Thursday (26.03.26) with the caption: "The best birthday gift ever.

"Happiest birthday to you sweet Jack Oliver Zajfen.

"(Jack: In honor of my Gandpa. Oliver: in honour of our Georgie. Now they share the same middle name)

"This family of 5 is madly in love. Full of all the emotions and taking it all in. Thank you all for being apart of this journey and loving our family. I have felt carried and loved so very much and that's what Community is all about.

"Get ready for a lot of baby content (sic)."

Famous faces rushed to the post's comments section to congratulate Kelly and Julian - who got married in 2010.

TV personality Amanda Kloots, 44, penned: "MY HEART!!! I'm so happy for you guys I can't take this! (sic)"

Army Wives actress Sally Pressman, 44, typed: "I am bawling this is so emotional and beautiful and perfect. Welcome to the world sweet Jack Oliver"

And singer Katharine McPhee Foster, 42, wrote: "Crying!! (sic)"

Fans also sent their well-wishes to Julian and Kelly - who met Meghan, 44, through her 49-year-old ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, a pal of Julian's.

One supporter reacted: "Kelly, Oliver is a beautiful birthday gift! We wish your family even more love and happiness!"

A second follower commented: "Jack!!! I love him! I love you! I'm so thrilled for you all. What a dream. He's so precious. Congrats and sending love and hugs!!!!!! (sic)"

And a third person said: "I'm just sobbing tears of joy over here 🥹 Kelly!!! You are so loved beyond measure, jack! (sic)"

In November 2025, Kelly announced her pregnancy on Instagram.

She uploaded a shot - taken by her and Julian's daughter Lily - of her cradling her blossoming bump with the caption: "Sometimes… just sometimes… when you let light in through the broken pieces of your heart, love grows.

"Baby boy coming this Spring.

"The path here wasn't easy, and yet love kept showing up in the smallest signs, the quietest moments, the light that refused to fade.

"This little soul is already so loved, a reminder that joy and grief can exist together… and that hope has a way of finding us again."

In July 2022, Kelly and Julian lost George after he was found unresponsive in their family home.

Almost two years later, Kelly wrote a first-person essay for People, in which she opened up about grief and how she, her husband and daughter have coped through the time of heartbreak.

In it, the model penned: "It happened very quickly. We had no idea when we took him into the hospital that 12 hours later, he would not make it.

"My nine-year-old son George died. Died of COVID and viral meningitis. A healthy and vibrant boy could not fight it.

"We lost him. I kissed him. But it was to say goodbye. It is impossible to know how to survive this type of grief. Even more impossible is the ability to find all the right tools that will help you manage each day.

"I definitely do not have all the answers."

Meghan and her 41-year-old husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe crowdfunder set up for George in the names of their children, Prince Archie, six, and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.

The couple also attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles last year, which honoured George and benefited Kelly's non-profit organisation, Alliance for Children's Rights, which provides free legal services and advocacy for caregivers, adoptive parents, and children and teens in Los Angeles' foster care system.
