John Krasinski has confirmed the cast for A Quiet Place: Part III.
The director revealed Jack O'Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O'Brian will join returning stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe in the next instalment of his hit horror franchise.
John, 46, who directed and co-wrote the first two films in the A Quiet Place series, announced the new casting alongside confirmation he will return to direct the third film from his own screenplay.
Jack, Jason and Katy are joining the franchise for the upcoming horror threequel, while Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are set to reprise their roles in the series.
The film continues the story set in a world overrun by sightless alien creatures with an acute sense of hearing.
Production is scheduled to begin this spring, with the film due for release in cinemas on 30 July, 2027.
The project is being produced by Paramount, with John producing alongside Allyson Seeger for Sunday Night, which holds a first-look deal with the studio.
Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing for Platinum Dunes.
John announced the casting on social media, posting an image of scripts bearing the names of the actors who will appear in the film.
John said: "So proud to be a part of this A Quiet Place Family…old and new!"
He added: "Here we go!"
In the post, John paired the announcement with the song One Last Time from the musical Hamilton, suggesting the third film could mark the final chapter of the story centred on a family attempting to survive in a world dominated by creatures that hunt using sound.
John previously directed and starred in the first A Quiet Place film alongside Emily, Millicent and Noah.
Cillian and Djimon Hounsou joined the cast for A Quiet Place Part II.
A prequel film, A Quiet Place: Day One, was directed by Michael Sarnoski, and starred Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn. The three films released so far have grossed a combined $900 million.
Jack joins the franchise following roles in the horror film Sinners, which won four Oscars on Sunday (15.03.26) night, and two films in the 28 Years Later series, including The Bone Temple, directed by Nia DaCosta.
