“Traitors” star Rob Rausch has revealed his relationship status following his fan-earning turn on the hit reality series.
Rausch, a 27-year-old reptile wrangler, provided fans with the update during a reunion for the show, which aired Thursday immediately after the finale episode.
“No,” Rausch responded when host Andy Cohen asked if he was “single right now.” He added that he’s been seeing his new love interest for about two months,
“Wow, at the moment you become America’s heartthrob, you lock it down,” Cohen responded.
Rausch joked back: “Just my luck.”
In a separate interview with The Cut, Rausch also briefly talked about having someone special in his life. He said he’d been working on a woodworking project for his “girlfriend,” but that he wanted to keep the details of their relationship, including her identity, private.
Prior to his appearance on “The Traitors,” Rausch tried to find his match on “Love Island USA,” appearing in both 2023’s fifth season and the next season in 2024.
He told GQ he repeatedly declined to appear on “Traitors” before finally accepting a slot on Season 4.
In the end, he won it all, taking home the show’s prize of $220,800. Host Alan Cumming has since described him as “one of the best Traitors we’ve had thus far.”
“I’ll probably do another [competition] show,” Rausch told The Cut following the show. “It’s just so hard to say ‘no’ because, like, I don’t wanna look back 10 years down the road and be like, ‘Man, you could have set up your kids for college… ‘ [But a] big part of me just wants to, like, f— off.”
