Melissa Etheridge, Blues Traveler, Nelly to perform at Brookfield Zoo Chicago summer concert series

CHICAGO — Melissa Etheridge, Blues Traveler and Nelly will be the musical acts performing at Brookfield Zoo Chicago’s annual Roaring Nights summer concert series, the zoo announced Tuesday.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday with early access for zoo members at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Etheridge’s show will be held at 7 p.m. June 7. The rock musician is set to release her new album, “Rise,” on March 27, marking her first studio album in five years. Her set at Brookfield Zoo Chicago is slated to feature tracks from the new album.
Blues Traveler will kick off the zoo’s second concert weekend with its trademark harmonica riffs at 7:30 p.m. July 24. And hip-hop star Nelly will follow at 7:30 p.m. July 25.
Ticket prices start at $60 and include full-day admission to the zoo on the day of the concert, parking at the main entrance, and unlimited ferris wheel and carousel rides. More information at brookfieldzoo.org.
