Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham have unfollowed their son Brooklyn on Instagram.

The couple's eldest son has reportedly been estranged from his family for some time and now it seems they have severed their digital link to one another because the aspiring chef has also stopped following his parents on the social media platform.

In addition, David, 50, and 51-year-old Victoria don't follow Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and they don't feature in the list of people followed by the 30-year-old actress.

The family fall-out was believed to have begun after the younger couple married in 2022, and in May, Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from David's 50th birthday party in London, which was attended by his wife and their other children, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and 14-year-old Harper.

Also that month, Brooklyn shared a video of himself and Nicola riding a motorbike along with a caption in which he pledged to "always choose" her.

Hours later, Cruz shared a family photo and wrote: "I love you guys more than anything, mum + dad, you gave us life and cared for us no matter what. I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives.(sic)"

In October, Victoria hinted at the difficulties when she reflected on how she thought Oasis rockers Liam and Noel Gallagher's reconciliation must have made their mother "so happy".

She told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: "I just think their mum must be so happy.

"It must have been really tough on the mum, the boys not talking for all those years. And I just think as a mum, that must be … she must feel so happy to see her boys getting on."

Victoria is happy she and David are "really close to the kids" but notably failed to mention her eldest son.

She said: "Harper's still 14, so she's living at home. So is Cruz, who is 20. I see both of them every day.

"Romeo doesn't live at home, so I see a little less of him."

Brooklyn recently insisted he ignores the "rubbish" people say about him.

Speaking at the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match in New York, he told Daily Mail online: "There's always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy.

"Everyone is always going to say rubbish. I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It's good fun."
