NEW YORK — Justin Baldoni sat in on Blake Lively‘s long-awaited and previously postponed deposition in the sexual harassment lawsuit she brought against her “It Ends With Us” director and co-star.

An insider told Us Weekly the “Gossip Girl” star arrived Thursday at her lawyer’s office in New York City, where Baldoni’s attorneys will depose her.

Lively ended 2024 by accusing Baldoni of on-set sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign, with the latter — who denies the allegations against him — filing a $400 million countersuit against her in January.

The lawsuit also accused Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane of civil extortion, but was tossed in early June, along with Baldoni’s $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times, for its coverage of Lively’s claims.

The deposition comes a week after it was previously scheduled to begin on July 17. That initial plan was pushed back at the last minute when Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Texas-based crisis consultant Jed Wallace from the case over lack of jurisdiction the day prior.

Lively’s lawyers in mid-July called on Liman to block Baldoni’s attorneys from choosing the location of the deposition, as they had “not denied that their intent is to manufacture a harassing publicity stunt by requiring Ms. Lively to parade through paparazzi, or by inviting unknown attendees to the deposition, including members of the media or social media influencers,” according to a filing obtained by TMZ and People.

Back in May, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, infamously quipped: “If Blake Lively is really serious about testifying for the world to see, let’s livestream it in Madison Square Garden and give the money to domestic violence survivors.”

Late last week, Lively withdrew multiple subpoenas she’d filed against YouTubers covering the enduring legal saga, set to go to trial next March.
