Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s friends are unsure if the couple has “permanently split,” amid reports they’re taking yet another break in their nearly decade-long hot and cold romance.

An insider confirmed to Us Weekly Wednesday that the “Hot N Cold” pop star, 40, and the 48-year-old “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor are “spending time apart.

“Their friends don’t know if they are permanently split,” continued the source, who confirmed the stars have broken up “a few times” over the years “but they’ve always worked it out before.”

“Apart” seemed the common refrain when sources on Tuesday shed some light on the current dynamic, which includes “spending more and more time apart” as the stars have “grown apart.”

“Katy has been very busy working, and they are apart often,” one such insider told Us. “That has caused tension.”

Bloom appeared that night on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” joking that he was “very emotional right now” and showing off “emotional support” pup Biggie Smalls.

Perry and Bloom initially got together in early 2016, parting ways just over a year later, and reconciling in February 2018. They have been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2019 and in August 2020 welcomed daughter Daisy Dove.

Bloom is also father to son Flynn, 14, from his three-year marriage to Miranda Kerr. Perry and Russell Brand were infamously married from 2010 to 2012, with the embattled comic-turned-podcaster, 50, allegedly ending the 14-month union over text.

Perry previously told Vogue she hadn’t “heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011.”

Brand appeared in a London court last month and pleaded not guilty to rape and sexual assault charges for alleged decades-old incidents. Brand was charged in April.

The Daily News has reached out to representatives for Perry and Bloom.
