Sean “Diddy” Combs caught a small break.

The fallen rapper will be released a few weeks early from his prison stint at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

According to the Bureau of Prisons, Combs was set to be sprung June 4, 2028, but will get out April 25, 2028.

The reason for the date change is unclear, but his lawyers may have gotten him time off for good behavior.

Combs hasn’t made headlines on the outside for a while, and this is probably a good thing. A few days into his stay last year, he was reportedly in hot water over drinking homemade alcohol and participating in an unauthorized, three-way phone call. Those added a month to his original sentence, May 8, 2028.

Beside working in the chapel library, Combs is also an “active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program ... and has taken his rehabilitation process seriously from the start,” the singer’s rep said in a statement to UsWeekly. “He is fully engaged in his work, focused on growth and committed to positive change.”

Combs was sentenced to 50 months after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in October 2025.

Once the 56-year-old is officially out, possibly back at his Star Island residence in Miami Beach — which is apparently his wish — he still has to complete five years of supervised release.
