Savannah Guthrie recorded a desperate plea for help in finding her 84-year-old mother in this “hour of desperation.”

The NBC host’s message was posted on Instagram as a 5 p.m. deadline from possible kidnappers approached Monday afternoon.

“Hi there everybody, I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare,” her message begins.

She also thanks supporters for their thoughts and prayers and calls for people everywhere — not just near her mother’s home in Tucson — to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

“We believe our mom is still out there, we need your help,” she says. “Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don’t know where. And we need your help.”

The 54-year-old “TODAY" host, along with her brother and sister, previously released three videos regarding their mom’s disappearance. The first one included all three siblings. The second was an appeal directly from Savannah’s brother Cameron. A message recorded Saturday once more included the trio telling whoever took their mother that the family will pay for her safe return. Savannah appears alone in Monday’s video, which is a direct plea to the public.

“We are at an hour of desperation and we need your help,” she says.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing from her southern Arizona home on Feb. 1. Media outlets have since been contacted by an unknown party asking for a $6 million ransom to be paid in cryptocurrency. Authorities have no suspects in the apparent abduction. Law enforcement doesn’t believe the elderly woman, who has health problems, left her house willingly.

Authorities arrested a California man Thursday for sending a fake ransom note. The FBI agent overseeing the investigation said authorities “found no evidence linking” the apparent imposter to the missing woman.
